Noelke.org is owned by George Noelke [photo] of Austin, Texas, U.S.A. George began his Internet publishing in 1998 with the Noelke Law and Public Interest Reporter. Noelke.org went online in June, 2002. George is the webmaster, designer and photographer. He posts his photographs at the top of the site. George's principal hobby is canoeing and kayaking with his family and friends. See The National Canoe Journal for his expeditions. His other hobbies include reading, writing, hunting, archery, photography and geocaching. George has a B.A. with Honors, Plan II, from the University of Texas at Austin and a J.D. from the Texas Tech School of Law in Lubbock, Texas. He is licensed as a lawyer by the State Bar of Texas. He works for the State of Texas as an attorney. In April 2005 George became a volunteer board member with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Austin Affiliate. He served as president - elect of the board from April, 2006 to March, 2007. He began serving as president of the board in April, 2007 and currently serves in that capacity. George is also active in a volunteer capacity with Cub Scout pack 79. Some of the unique content of Noelke.org includes free audio of the Eanes ISD school board meetings. George regularly attends these meetings and posts the audio of the meetings on Noelke.org. This audio has become a major resource for the Eanes community and all those interested in Eanes ISD. As Eanes ISD is recognized consistently as one of the exemplary school districts in Texas, the audio has also received a national audience from school districts and educators outside of Texas. In the Fall of 2006, George was awarded an EaneSpiration award by the district after being nominated for the award by the teachers of Valley View Elementary. Noelke.org also contains a history page where you can find information about the history of the Noelke family. We encourage Noelke's world-wide to contact us, as one of our goals is to serve as a repository for family history and photographs. (We are interested in all branches of the family, so if you have or had a relative married to a Noelke, or if your are a Noelke not related to those of us in Texas, please let us know about you anyway.) Thank you for visiting Noelke.org.
From time to time we will post information about others who have content on this site:
We encourage Noelke's (and others) world-wide to contact us. We are always interested in adding content to our site.
